We're very excited that Rob was promoted on Friday! He's now a Petty Officer First Class (E-6). He's worked very hard and definitely deserves this! He was one of two people that made the promotion to First Class.
I'm very proud of him!
Rob was quite honored that one of his best friends, CR, was able to pin on Rob's new rank.
Rob also got to take a picture and shake hands with the CO (Commanding Officer), Captain Littman.

Here are a couple pictures of Rob and CR being studs.
Behind them is the CIWS (Close-In Weapons System) that they both are trained to work on. All though, as many of you know, Robert has been in charge of the ship's armory for the past year plus.

Rob was also honored that he was asked to pin Hedgepath (now Petty Officer Third Class), one of the guys that works for Rob.
I am very excited for Rob and this new promotion! It's fun hearing everyone call him FC1 :)
