I'm still here!

Wow, it's been six months since I've last posted a blog!  That's crazy!  Well, I'll make up for it because I have couple to post :)  We'll do it in chronological order...

So this past March I turned 29.  My last year in my twenties.  Where has the time gone?  Am I really allowed to be this old? Not that 29 is old, but aren't I still a kid???  Time flies when you're having fun, I guess!

Anyhoo, I was kind of pouting this year.  I didn't want to celebrate turning 29.  Like I said before, it's not old.  It's turning 29 and being childless that I was pouting about.  I told Rob that if we're not pregnant by my birthday, I didn't even want to acknowledge I was having a birthday.  He, being the wonderful husband he is, obliged.  A few days later, Rob acknowledged my not wanting to celebrate, but said maybe we could throw a really big shindig... He knows me so well.  HAHAHA What better way to distract me from pouting by planning a party.  I love love LOVE hosting things, making a menus, cooking, planning, decorating, etc.  So this was perfect.  :)

So, for my 26th birthday, I put on a 1920s Murder Mystery Dinner with my girls.  It was such a blast!  I talked to Rob and he thought doing it again, but with couples would be a GREAT idea!  I was really glad to have him all aboard this idea!  We picked a GREAT group of friends and it really was an AMAZING night!  Here are the pics to prove it...

I wish I'd gotten more pictures of the other decorations and the table and the tasty food, but oh well.  I have the great memories and that's what counts!  I'm so grateful that I have such wonderful friends here in Hawaii to come party with me :D
