Monday July 30th
Of course we had to stop at Haleiwa Joe's! Thanks to my friend Whitney, it's one of my favorite places to eat!
After many hangups, we finally made it to Waimea Valley!
Here is a replica of an ancient Hawaiian dwelling
The palm trees here were really funny looking!
We made it to the falls!
Madre and I in the water
We're swimming out to the falls
I made it! (I'm in the lefthand corner.) It was a LOT harder than it looked. The current from the falls was REALLY strong!
Kymi even got in and swam around with us! (Kymi and I are in the middle waving)
This tree is super cool looking!
After our hike around Waimea Valley, we stopped to check out the Pu'ukea Tidal Pools!
She's a strong lady!
Like mother like daughter lol
Oooh! Fishes!
Can you see the crab right in the middle?
Snail!
Another crab!
I thought this shell was really pretty!
On our way home, we stopped at Turtle Beach.
And we found some! Isn't she beautiful?
Turtle butt! hehehe
You can see the shell, underwater, right in the middle of the picture
Cute little turtle head
Row! Row! Row!

Sunday August 5th
After church, Kymi and I decided to take Mozart out to Hickam Dog Beach
He loved it!
He's such a little beach bum! :)
We took puppins home to rest from all his adventures, we went to relax on Waikiki beach.
Look at that sunset!
Something I thought was impossible... I was actually getting a tan!!!
A very friend guy on the beach broke open a coconut and shared it with us! Yum!

Monday August 6th
Kymi and I got up early and went and hiked Diamond Head!
After the hike we rewarded ourselves with some tasty shaved ice!
After resting and shower, Kymi and I made our way up to the north shore to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We're touring around on the canoe here.
Apparently we are naturals at playing the ukulele :)
We stopped by the Hawaiian Mission Settlement where we learned about the Catholic, Protestant, and LDS missionaries that came to the island.
Books of Mormon in English and Hawaiian
Kymi and some Samoans ;) ;)
Kymi trying mochi for the first time. She liked it!

The pig roasting in the pit
Gift Shop - This shirt is "turtley awesome"!
Kymi found this frame and we thought it'd be a neat idea to give it to Madre since she had to leave us. She loved it!
