L - O - V - E

L is for the way you look at me

O is for the only one I see

V is very, very extraordinary

E is even more than anyone that you adore and

Love is all that I can give to you

Love is more than just a game for two....

But a game of love is exactly what this post is about!

Here's my latest crafty project inspired by Andrea and Love Actually.  Andrea found this on the Love Actually blog and said how her and her honey had so much fun playing Romantic Scrabble.  I thought how much I'd love that! ...But we don't have Scrabble and we're really working on saving money right now...so I decided to make it myself!!! It turned out GREAT!!!

I grabbed some 8 x 11 posterboard from my craft trunk and drew a grid.

In a spread sheet (I used Numbers cuz I have a Mac, but Excel will do the trick),  I typed out all the letters (A SPECIAL THANKS TO ANDREA FOR LETTING ME KNOW THE CORRECT NUMBERS OF EACH LETTER IN THE REAL SCRABBLE GAME! ).  I made sure it printed out the gridlines - helps with cutting.  And  I printed them on red cardstock.   Then I used my most favorite tool, my straight paper cutter!

I printed out a couple more letters and got some scratch scrapbook paper from my scratch paper envelope.

Here's how I applied it

TADA!!! It's done! :)

Close up on the title... I love it!

I even took the scrap ends of the letter spread sheet and fold them into holders!  Rob really enjoyed the game and my creativity!  Even though... I WON! :) hehehe
